For vaginal health context:
The vaginal environment is naturally acidic (around pH 3.8–4.5).

Because oil doesn’t alter pH directly, it won’t “raise” or “lower” vaginal pH the way some water-based products can.

That said, oil-based products are generally well tolerated externally.
Should not be used with latex condoms (they degrade latex).
